The pitch

The Omnicore, the sacred orb sustaining life across the island, has been stolen, and the land is sliding into chaos. Five very different heroes set out to recover it, and find the theft was only the opening move in something far darker.

Primal League is a hand-made pixel metroidvania built around one idea: five fully distinct playable classes, each of whom turns the same island into a different game. Stealth, steel, fury, magic, or machinery, every room has more than one honest answer.

Key points

  • Five playable heroes with genuinely different kits, not skins, but different games.
  • A connected, secret-laden island in the classic metroidvania mould.
  • An intricate crafting system that rewards exploration and rewrites hard fights.
  • Handcrafted pixel art, powerful enemies, and epic boss encounters.
  • A playable demo is available now.

The heroes

Kira, The Rogue

A master of precision and stealth. Her bow ends fights before they start; when enemies close in, her daggers finish the work. She can vanish outright, but she is fragile, and survival means never being seen.

Kael, The Knight

A symbol of justice in shining steel. Sword and shield in hand, he meets evil head on, and his shield is a weapon too, striking from range. Durable and reliable, he holds the line where others break.

Gunnar, The Berserker

He lives for battle. Fury fuels his massive axe and unlocks the Cyclone, a whirlwind that cleaves a crowd apart. He has no answer at range, so he does the only thing he knows: push forward, and stay in the fight.

Fred, The Sorcerer

An apprentice of enormous potential who commands every element. His magic reshapes the battlefield and overwhelms, but power leaves him exposed. He must keep his distance and choose his moment.

Markhor, The Engineer

A veteran who brings firepower and strategy. From pistols to heavy artillery, every weapon is a tool for the job. He lays traps, controls space, and calls down strikes, turning the field into his domain.
